My Samsung Phone is Hanged / Blacked out

Modified on Thu, 6 Apr, 2023 at 10:16 AM

If your Samsung phone is frozen or unresponsive, performing a hard reboot can help reset the phone and fix the issue. Here's how to do it:

  • Press and hold the power button: Locate the power button on your Samsung phone and press and hold it for at least 10-15 seconds.

  • Wait for the phone to turn off: Keep holding the power button until the screen turns off completely and the phone vibrates.

  • Release the power button: Once the phone has turned off, release the power button.

  • Turn on the phone: Press and hold the power button again until the Samsung logo appears and the phone vibrates. Your Samsung phone will now boot up as normal.

If your phone still doesn't turn on after performing a hard reboot, try charging it for a few minutes and then repeat the process.

If that still doesn't work, it may be time to contact Samsung support or submit a ticket here for further assistance.
