Connecting my Android phone to WIFI

Modified on Wed, 5 Apr, 2023 at 7:51 AM

  • Turn on your Android phone and go to the "Settings" menu.

  • Find the "Wi-Fi" option and tap on it.

  • Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on. If it's not, toggle the switch to turn it on.

  • Your phone will start scanning for available Wi-Fi networks. Wait a few moments for the list of available networks to appear.

  • Find the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to and tap on it. If the network is secured with a password, you'll be prompted to enter it. Type in the password and tap "Connect."

  • Wait a few moments for your phone to connect to the Wi-Fi network. You should see a notification that says "Connected" or something similar.

  • Open a web browser or any other app that requires an internet connection and try accessing a website or other online content to make sure that your phone is properly connected to the internet.

  • If you're unable to connect to the Wi-Fi network, try restarting your phone and then trying again. If that doesn't work, move closer to the Wi-Fi access point or router.

  • If you're still unable to connect, check that the Wi-Fi network is functioning properly. You can do this by checking that other devices can connect to the network without any issues. If the network is not functioning, submit a ticket here for further assistance.
