- Turn on your laptop and make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled. Most laptops have a physical switch or button that turns Wi-Fi on and off. Check that it's turned on.
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar or system tray. It looks like a series of curved bars or radio waves. If you can't find the icon, click on the Start button and search for "Wi-Fi" in the search box.
- Find the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to and click on it. If the network is secured with a password, you'll be prompted to enter it. Type in the password and click "Connect."
- Wait a few moments for your laptop to connect to the Wi-Fi network. You should see a notification that says "Connected" or something similar.
- Open a web browser and try accessing a website to make sure that your laptop is properly connected to the internet.
- If you're unable to connect to the Wi-Fi network, try restarting your laptop and then trying again. If that doesn't work, move closer to the Wi-Fi access point or router.
- If you're still unable to connect, check that the Wi-Fi network is functioning properly. You can do this by checking that other devices can connect to the network without any issues. If the network is not functioning, submit a ticket here for further assistance.
