How to Enable Lock Screen Setting - Window 11

  1. Open Settings. (Press Windows Key on your keyboard and enter the word "Settings" and hit Enter to open the Setting Menu)
  2. Click on Personalization.
  3. Click the Lock screen page on the right side.

  1. Under the "Related settings" section, click the Screen saver option.

  1. Under the "Screen saver" section, select the screen saver for Windows 11:
    • None: Disable the screen saver feature.
    • 3D text: Allows you to print a custom message as the screen saver.
    • Blank: Shows a black screen as the screen saver. (Prefered)
    • Bubbles: Creates bouncing bubbles using the desktop as the background.
    • Mystify: Uses a mystify design that changes colors as the screen saver.
    • Photos: Allows you to show a collection of pictures when the computer is inactive.
    • Ribbons: Uses a ribbon animation that changes colors of the screen saver.

  1. Use the Wait option to specify the number of minutes of inactivity before the screen saver turns on. (Set it to 5 minutes)

  1. Check the On resume, display the logon screen option to lock the computer automatically when the screen saver is running.
  2. Click the Apply button.
  3. Click the OK button.
